Would you as a married person recommend marriage to a younger generation?
If, at the very least:
- you want to be everything God intended you to be;
- you want all the blessings (both those welcomed and not so welcomed) God has in store for you in this life and the next;
- you want to leave this world better than you found it;
- you want to know the deepest of loves;
- you want to develop wisdom and good judgment;
- you want to learn what really matters and what does not;
- your life has deeper meaning, purpose, and satisfaction when you are in the service of others (including, but not limited to your spouse and children);
- you are willing throughout your life to sacrifice, even when that means sacrificing the good for the better;
- you understand and agree and are willing to live by these words: “What we obtain too cheap, we esteem too lightly: it is dearness only that gives every thing its value. Heaven knows how to put a proper price upon its goods[.],”*
then I recommend marriage to anyone of any age.
