There are not enough well-conducted and well-decided cases to restore my overall lack of faith in the legal system generally.
To be sure, there are very good judges and others working within the legal system who try their best to ensure just outcomes as much as humanly possible. Irrespective, there are not enough of them to save the legal system from its overall mediocre and decaying state.
You can still go to a grocery store and it will more than adequately fulfill needs for groceries. But try going to the court to fulfill your need for justice and odds are you will be thoroughly disappointed. The same can be said of most professions these days. Not enough lawyers and judges are delivering justice, not enough police are serving and protecting, not enough doctors are treating, and not enough ministers aren’t comforting and correcting primarily, consistently, or well.
