Do the family courts in the U.S. tend to favor the mother over the father?
Generally, yes. Only a fool (or a con artist) would tell you otherwise. The courts are slowly, but noticeably, becoming less biased in favor of mothers over fathers, but the bias is still undeniably there. Fathers have a better chance than ever of being treated fairly and without discrimination than they have ever had in modern memory, but fathers are still the “black man in the 1960s South” in the sense that they have to work twice as hard to get treated fairly and impartially.
