New COVID Eviction Declaration form
On October 2, 2020, the Utah Supreme Court and Utah Judicial Council issued an updated Administrative Order. The Order included the following change: In Forcible Entry and Detainer cases, requires plaintiffs to submit a declaration indicating compliance with COVID relief laws either as a part of discovery or in support of a default judgment.
The Administrative Order notice included a new COVID Eviction Declaration form. The Judicial Council has now amended the second page of that form based on recent guidance from the CDC. The amended form is attached to this email and is also available on the Utah State Court’s website.
